We are talking about your used book store, not a retail store. The only percentage relevant here is the percentage of *your* sticker price. A used car sales person doesn't tell you that you are paying just 25% of the MSRP expecting that you should be impressed... well maybe a smarmy one does.

CAUTION: the trade-in policy here is deceptive. When they say you earn "store credit" for books you bring in this does NOT mean what it means anywhere else I've been. You spend your "store credit" by getting 50% off each book you purchase. If you have 25 dollars in "store credit" you have to spend at least 25 dollars to use that credit.
What you offer is a "store discount" but you call it a "store credit."

I found and bought most of an out of print series of books that I wanted to get for my boys to read and enjoy. The new store space is well organized and smells wonderfully like books. Two very nice, knowledgeable employees directed me right where I wanted to go.
