Very unhappy they left box of Xmas presents at front door. My sister lives in an apt area. Small boxes are locked in a package mailbox and key is left in residents mailbox. For larger boxes, note supposed to be left so she can pick up at the post office. Instead they left box at her door. Thankfully I had checked tracking and she was able to contact a neighbor to get the box. So a secured mailbox is there for smaller packages but a large package is just left on a porch......at Xmas time!
Good job lady.
The USPS truly has the most unhelpful, rude, untrained, and unintelligent set of employees known to man. I had a package that apparently was too heavy for the mail to carry, shipped from California, that I had to pay $65 for at the door. First off, why would they accept the package in the first place, if they KNEW it was too big? Secondly, why would they come up to my door and expect me to pay $65 in shipping that was supposed to be free? That's just rude. Yeah, sure, don't give me my package that was OBVIOUSLY too big for your truck unless I pay half of the price of the item that I bought! I asked if I could get a receipt so I could have the shipping refunded by the company I bought the item from, and the delivery woman told me to call the post office, since they HAVE RECORD of me paying for their "trouble". (it's your job, don't make me pay for it.) So, that being said, I called the post office a few days later. I asked them if I could get some sort of documentation for the transaction, and this guy that was "helping" me sounded like he was fresh out of the third grade. Improper grammar, rude, very unhelpful, and wouldn't stop mumbling. He was obviously joking around with his coworkers, as he kept pulling away from the phone to laugh. I shrugged it off. He said he would see what he could do, and then he hung up. I never heard anything back from him. About a month later, I called again and was greeted by yet another rude, illiterate worker. Every time I explained my issue, she would misunderstand or not know what I was trying to say; she had no sense of logic whatsoever. I finally got what I was trying to say to make any sort of sense to her, after dumbing it down to about a first grade level sentence. She told me that there's no sort of receipt or information. She didn't even LOOK. I asked if there was documentation of me paying the delivery driver $65, and the woman on the phone said yes. I asked if I could have a copy and then she said that there is no documentation. I get very disappointed every time I see that any of my packages have been transferred to the USPS because I know that it will either get here way later than expected, I will have to pay extra fees, it will arrive broken, or it won't arrive at all. I'm awaiting a package and its delivery date has been changed around 6 times now, thanks USPS.
Workers are not knowledgeable, and service at this post office is slow.. Given wrong info on numerous occasions, and the attitude here is that you're "bothering" them... Home delivery service from this office is excellent, however.. Never any problems with the mail delivery.
Talk about rude service! All I was doing was trying to pick up my package. But all I got was attitude!
Never had a problem here. Fast and friendly service.
